Charlotte, N.C. -- Aurecon, an engineering, management and specialist technical services firm, has joined the SITEOPS Certified Provider Program and is the first Certified Provider in Australia and New Zealand.

SITEOPS Certified Providers hold certification from BLUERIDGE Analytics as being fully trained and expert in providing land design optimization services. Certified Providers provide essential services that are beneficial to real estate developers and owners such as site design and cost optimization; up front value-engineering and site design comparisons; and the use of 3D visualizations and advanced budgeting.

"Aurecon has a highly regarded reputation in the engineering industry with a global reach," said Mike Detwiler, president and CEO of BLUERIDGE Analytics. "We are excited to have Aurecon join our Certified Provider Program and to see the power of SITEOPS reach new audiences."

SITEOPS is conceptual site design software that allows civil engineers, architects, landscape architects and land developers to evaluate more information in the early stages of a project, design more efficiently and minimize site development costs. The software gives users the ability to conduct rapid site evaluations and "what-if" scenarios by generating thousands of layout, grading and storm water drainage combinations in a matter of minutes.

"SITEOPS gives us a unique tool to rapidly assess multiple options for our clients' sites," said Alec Tadman, MEng MIEAust, an associate with the Land Development Services group at Aurecon. "On recent projects, we have been able to utilize the conceptualization and optimization features of SITEOPS during the initial phases. Ultimately, we expect that this will allow us to become more involved with projects earlier and, in return, build better relationships with our clients."
