On May 3, 2012, a Congressional field hearing was held in Colorado Springs, Colo., on H.R. 4233, the Map It Once, Use It Many Times Act, and on H.R. 1620, the Federal Land Assets Inventory Reform (FLAIR) Act. It might be a year or two before Congress passes these pieces of geospatial legislation into law—but you can help.
